Sample the wines of the region at the Villa Casagrande! You’ll be treated to a guided tour of the villa’s noble apartments, museum, and wine cellar, followed by the opportunity to taste several different Chianti wines produced there.
You’ll have the morning at your leisure. Take a drive through the country or to Arezzo, one of the wealthiest cities in Tuscany. This charming city is stunning yet compact, being ideal for a short half-day of exploring.

Villa Casagrande Pizza Making Class
Bring a piece of Italy home with you when you learn to make the country’s most famous and iconic dish! You’ll get an introduction to the story of pizza and its evolution, and a demonstration of the preparation of the dough followed by the creation of your own pizza. At the end of your class, you’ll be able to taste your own pizza!
Take the drive to Pisa today, where you can see its famous leaning tower up close. Spend some time at the famous Knights’ Square where you can discover remnants of its Renaissance past, and explore the Gothic buildings that are sprinkled through the city.
Today consider taking a drive to Siena, one of the most beautiful medieval towns of Italy. Take a stroll to the magnificent Piazza del Campo, then pay a visit to one of the most breathtaking examples of Romanseque-Gothic churches: the Duomo in Siena. This stunning building will have you in awe from the intricate exterior to the colorful interior.
Depart Italy from Florence airport (FLR). Be sure to return your rental car to the rental area before proceeding to check-in.
