Day 02 :
Rome

There is something to see and do around every corner in Rome. Continue using your bus pass and hop off at the Colosseum. You will feel the immense emotion of the ruins where warriors fought to the death as the crowds cheered from the stands that are still intact today.

Next door, visit the ancient government buildings at the Roman Forum. You’ll then want to head over to the Pantheon, where you can see one of the most influential and well-preserved monuments of its time.

Day 03 :
Rome

Spend some time in Vatican City today, and pay a visit to the breathtaking St. Peter’s Basilica. You may also want to visit the Vatican Museums, where you’ll have the opportunity to experience Michelangelo’s famous Sistine Chapel ceiling for yourself.

Hop across the Tiber river and spend your last day in Rome exploring Trastevere, a charming medieval neighborhood without the crowds. Begin the day at Piazza di Santa Maria then stop by the 12th-century Basilica di Santa Maria.

Day 05 :
Sorrento

Day 06 :
Sorrento

During the next two days you might want to take a trip to Naples and hike Mt. Vesuvius or tour the ruins of Pompeii. Mt. Vesuvius erupted in 79 A.D. and buried the town of Pompeii in about 20 inches of ash.

Today, the town has been excavated and is on the list of the Wonders of the World. Take a tour of Pompeii and you will see the Baths, Forums and Villas.

Day 07 :
Sorrento

Tour the stunning Amalfi Coast today. Enjoy views of sloping cliffs, crystal clear waters, and stunning seaside villages as you make the drive from Positano to Amalfi to Ravello.

In accordance with your return flight, make your way to Naples Airport. Be sure to drop your car off at the rental area before proceeding to the check-in area.
