Day 02 :
Florence

Discover the exciting culture, the dynamic atmosphere, and all of the history that exists in this vibrant city. Pay a visit to the Piazza del Duomo, where you’ll find Giotto’s famous bell tower as well as the city’s duomo, which took nearly 150 years to complete.

This plaza is also home to the Florence Baptistry, where notable figures from the Medici Family to Dante were baptized; be sure to take a closer look at the east doors, which Michelangelo dubbed the Gates of Paradise.”

Day 03 :
Florence

Enjoy the shopping that Italy is known for! Explore the plethora of shoe shops, fashion houses, wine shops, and even antique toy shops!

After an exhaustive day of shopping, take a walk to Bardini Gardens, a lesser-known garden in Florence that offers idyllic views of the city below.

Day 04 :
Florence

Take a stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, making sure to stop and explore the various vendors selling handmade goods along the way. Be sure to rub the nose of the Porcellino for good luck as you browse the goods at the Mercato Nuovin!

Day 05 :
Florence

Consider exploring the Pitti Palace and its five museums today. The palace itself is overflowing with history, from its ownership under the Medici Family to its role as a power base for Napoleon.

After you’ve finished exploring the museum highlights, enjoy a leisurely stroll in the nearby Boboli Gardens, where you’ll find stunning sculptures sprinkled throughout the massive park grounds.

Day 06 :
Florence

Explore the museum-based masterpieces of the city today! Consider paying a trip to the Uffizi Gallery, where you can gaze at the works of Botticelli, Michelangelo, da Vinci, and more.

You’ll also want to explore the Accademia, whose show-stopper is Michelangelo’s famous statue of David. After a long day of exploring, end your trip on a sweet note by treating yourself to a serving of mouth-watering gelato, which was actually invented in the 16th century by a Florence native!

You’ll head back to America today. You have an included transfer from your hotel to the airport which will make your departure much easier.
