Day 02 :
Berlin

Activate your 48-hour hop-on/hop-off bus tour of Berlin, which takes you across the city highlights from the Brandenburg Gate to Checkpoint Charlie.

Spend some time at the Berlin Wall Memorial, which extends 0.8 miles along Bernauer Strasse. The memorial contains the last piece of the Berlin Wall with the preserved grounds behind it, a chapel, escape tunnels, and a monument.

End the day with a romantic stroll over the Oberbaum Bridge and the River Spree, making sure to stop to admire the beautiful Berlin Cathedral.

Berlin Yellow Line Hop-on/Hop-off City Tour (48-hour ticket)

Discover Berlin with the City Circle Yellow tour and make the most of your Berlin adventure with this time- saving hop-on hop-off tour. You will see all the main attractions and landmarks around the city at which you can hop on and off at leisure. Day 03 :
Berlin

Continue using your hop-on/hop-off pass today, making stops at Berlin’s famous attractions. Pose for a photo at Brandenburg Gate, built in 1791 and symbolizing German reunification.

Then head to Reichstag, Germany’s parliament and one of its most iconic buildings. Its most distinctive feature, the glittering glass dome, is serviced by a elevator and offers fabulous 360-degree city views.

End the day at Museumsinsel (Museum Island), Berlin’s most important treasure trove, spanning 6000 years’ worth of art, artifacts, sculpture and architecture from Europe and beyond.

Say goodbye to Berlin as you head to the train station for your train south to Frankfurt! Upon arrival in Frankfurt, check into your accommodation then spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Frankfurt, located on the river Main, is a major financial hub that’s home to the European Central Bank. Head to Altstadt (Old Town) and stroll through Romerburg square. In December, the square hosts Frankfurt’s famous Christmas Market!

Day 05 :
Frankfurt

Today, enjoy a 2-hour city tour taking you to Frankfurt’s highlights from Altstadt to St. Paul’s Church.

After the tour, consider a visit to Goethe House, the former home of writer Johann Wolfgang von Goethe whose famous works include “Faust” and “The Sorrows of Young Werther.”

Frankfurt is home to an exciting array of world-class museums including Stadel Museum, which holds an outstanding collection of European art from masters including Durer, Rembrandt, Rubens, Renoir, Picasso and Cézanne.

Frankfurt Guided City Tour (2 hours)

Enjoy a city sightseeing tour and discover the diversity of historic and modern Frankfurt. You’ll see the most important sights of the former Coronation city of the German Emperors and the modern European Banking Center. See one of the largest European rail stations, the Museum Embankment, European Central Bank and the banking quarter with its skyscrapers – among them the biggest office buildings in Europe.

Walk across the historic heart of the city called “Römer” – the famous old city hall, Paul’s Church, and the Cathedral. See the “Hautpwache” – former headquarters of the city’s Stadtwehr militia, the shopping street “Zeil,” the Old Opera, the big towers of the former city wall, and the international fairgrounds.

Day 06 :
Frankfurt

Leave Frankfurt and journey approx. 2 hrs to the fairy tale town of Rothenburg on a guided tour! Considered Germany’s best-preserved walled town, Rothenburg is flanked by half-timbered buildings and cobblestone alleys.

Enjoy a journey back in time to the best-preserved medieval town in Germany! The tour leads you to Rothenburg ob der Tauber, located high above the Tauber River Valley on Germany’s Romantic Road. Begin with a sightseeing walk through the picturesque old lanes and the castle gardens, then head to St. Jacobs Church with the wood carved altar by Tilman Riemenschneider. Marvel at the half-timbered houses, city gates, and the mighty Renaissance Town Hall.

During your leisure time, visit the fascinating Medieval Crime Museum, Doll and Toy Museum, German Christmas Museum, and much more. Rothenburg also offers great souvenir-shopping opportunities. Buy carvings, wine glasses, Christmas tree ornaments and all kind of traditional handicrafts. Enjoy a traditional German meal and don’t forget to try a “Schneeball,” a local fried dough ball with different toppings.

Check out of your accommodation and head to Frankfurt train station for your train to Munich! The capital of Bavaria is famous for its annual Oktoberfest and beer halls, Marienplatz square, and iconic cathedral.

After settling into your accommodation, head to Viktualienmarkt, a sprawling daily food market in the Old Town. Pick up some tasty treats, then take in the sights of nearby Marienplatz, always buzzing with activity.

Later, head to Residenz, Munich’s number one attraction. Home to Bavaria’s Wittelsbach rulers from 1508 until WWI, the former palace turned museum is a gilded royal wonderland.

Day 09 :
Munich

Leave Munich today for a full-day tour to two of Bavaria’s enchanting castles, Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. Completed in 1886, they were the dream of King Ludwig II who unfortunately did not live long enough to see the castles opened.

Royal Castles of Neuschwanstein & Linderhof Tour

Hidden in the secluded Bavarian mountains, King Ludwig II built two of his dream castles: Neuschwanstein and Linderhof. This excursion shows you these two extraordinary places that live up to the vision of Bavaria’s Fairy Tale King.

Make a short stop in Oberammergau, then continue to the hilltop Neuschwanstein Castle that inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty castle. Spend approximately 4 hours touring the castle before traveling through scenic countryside to Linderhof, Ludwig’s rococo-style hunting lodge and last home with its fantastic grotto and Moorish pavilion.

Your three-city German adventure ends today. At the appropriate time, head to Munich airport for your flight home.
