• Air and Land – $69.00 Per Adult

You can cancel your vacation for any reason and receive a refund in the form of a future travel certificate. VPP must be added to your booking by final payment. Once purchased, your plan cost is non-refundable. This plan is not available with non-refundable hotel rates.

Vacation Protection Plan [VPP] Pre-Departure Waiver

The following benefits are provided by Vacation Express and are not insurance benefits.

Cancellations:
You can cancel for any reason a minimum of 24 hours prior to original scheduled departure time as indicated in your travel documents or no later than 5pm the day prior to departure for hotel-only bookings. When you purchase the VPP, all applicable cancellation charges [does not include change fees or reduced deposit plan fees] as per your Terms and Conditions contract will be refunded in the form of Vacation Express future travel certificates, known as a VPP Voucher, less the VPP plan cost. Scheduled-air passengers will receive the airline ticket numbers [or paper tickets] and be advised of the ticket cost.

VPP Voucher Information:
Vouchers are issued in the original names of the passengers on the booking at the time of cancellation.
The vouchers are non-transferable and name changes will not be accepted.
Passengers have one year from original date of travel to use the voucher toward another package to any Vacation Express destination.
VPP can be repurchased when rebooking your vacation with the original VPP voucher.
Under no circumstances does the VPP allow for a full or partial cash refund, nor can it be extended.
Please check with your airline for their specific requirements.

Change Fee Waiver:
A one-time change fee, per person will be waived prior to final payment. This applies only to Vacation Express change fees per our Terms and Conditions Contract. This does not include airline change fees where applicable. No changes can be made to bookings with non-refundable hotel rates.

Price Drop Guarantee:
A one-time price adjustment is permitted per room and only applies to the land portion. The air portion of a booking is not eligible for price adjustment. All travelers in the room must have purchased insurance to qualify. Price adjustments must be requested prior to final payment and, if applicable, any refunds will be processed to the original form of payment. This does not apply to non-refundable room categories. Pricing must be available at Vacation Express at time of the request and all components must match. Email request for price drop adjustment to pricedrop@vacationexpress.com and include current screen shot including same hotel, room category and flight schedule. No changes can be made to bookings with non-refundable hotel rates.

Please Note: VPP is not available with non-refundable hotel rates.

Supplemental Upgrade for VPP and VPP+ the cost is an additional $20 per person [all ages].

Vacation Protection Plan Plus [VPP+] Pre-Departure Waiver

OPTION C: VACATION PROTECTION INSURANCE [VPI]

In some cases, such as with non-refundable hotel rates, air-only and others, the above VPP and VPP+ plans may not be offered. In those cases the VPI plan is offered as an alternative. If you cancel or interrupt your vacation due to an unforeseen, covered reason listed in your policy, benefits will reimburse up to 100% of the cost of your trip for unused, prepaid non-refundable travel arrangements. VPI must be added to your booking within 7 days of deposit date or before final payment is due, whichever occurs first. The VPI plan cost is not refundable after 14 days from purchase.

For hotel packages: From $109.00 per adult
For flight and hotel packages: $158.00 per adult

*Ages 12 and under are considered children with this plan.

For travelers seeking higher limits, consider VPI with Supplemental Upgrade. This plan provides the same benefits with the upgrade of a $2,000 Trip Delay limit. Add $12 per person to the pricing listed above.
